Glass Half Full
You walk up to a table or group of spectators and unfurl a scarf that you are holding in your hand and show it to the audience on both sides. You then pull the scarf straight up to reveal a giant Margarita style glass that can measure 8 inches wide by 11 inches tall or bigger. You'll have to shop for the appropriate scarf and glass for the effect. The routine is not difficult but will take some practice. As the ads state, you don't have to wear any specialized clothing, although there are considerations. The ads also state that you can perform this one in strolling situations, but youll definitely have to watch your angles.
Glass Half Empty
If you know anything about producing a wine or champagne glass, you'll already be familiar with the classic holdout method. While the hold out is well known, Sean Scott provides handling that is slightly different to accommodate the giant glasses. On the one hand, I give credit to Scott for coming up with a way to produce a giant glass from seemingly nowhere. To some, this DVD will be worth the money. On the other hand, since the method is so well known with only some adjustments to the handling, I think this one is overpriced.
