All Dobson
The routine does require Dobson's prop, a pair of "Chinese Sticks" that have been modified with ping pong balls. The prop markets for about $150. And you can also purchase a far less expensive pair of Chinese Sticks and make the modifications yourself. The booklet features an equally entertaining routine, "White Lies," that's to be used with a "Mental Photography" gimmicked deck (a dealer's item).
There's also Dobson's "An Englishman in New York," a "Sam the Bellhop" style routine where you tell a story as you deal cards - the cards relate to the story. The patter, which talks of an Englishman in New York, works well for Dobson, and with only slight modifications, most can easily adapt the routine.
A Mini Act
The booklet features lots of hilarious one-liners, a trademark of Wayne Dobson. Indeed, you can purchase this booklet and the necessary props and add a good ten minutes to your cabaret act.MSRP: (US) $20
