Grilling Spectators
A card is selected and put back into the deck. After you mix the deck, the spectator's card is mysteriously found on top. A spectator signs the back of the card which is returned to the deck. As the spectator shuffles the cards, you turn around with the card hanging from your mouth with the signature showing (phase 2).You remove the signed card from your mouth and turn it over, and its found to be blank (phase 3). You smile, and the card is spelled out in gemstones that are embedded in your silver teeth.
Biting Trick
The prop is a good quality set of chrome-style teeth that fit over your own. There's a custom mouthpiece that you heat and form to your own teeth so the prop is comfortable to wear. I had no problems heating the mouth piece and fitting the gimmick to my upper teeth. The four-phased routine is a good one that takes some basic card skills. Any intermediate-level card magician should have no problems with the sleights. An enclosed DVD does an excellent and thorough job of explaining the routine and also teaches variations.
I like the routine and premise. Because of my restaurant work, I'm not big on tricks that use my mouth. But I see potential with this one.
