Getting a Rise
As the ads state, the effect is completely self-contained and nothing is added or taken away. Reset is immediate and the trick and can be performed right away with another card. As long as spectators are looking down onto the deck, you can perform this one surrounded.A plus, spectators may keep the levitated card as a souvenir. You can also use the trick with certain modifications to levitate dollar bills, photographs and more.
Lift Off
There's a definite knack to controlling the lift, but this comes with time. There's also a key item that you'll need to own in order to work this device. This is listed in the product's advertisement and may be an item that you already own. The recommended device costs $35."Enlightenment" is sold as a kit (please click here to read my review). When purchased in the kit form, you must perform some cutting and taping to incorporate the device into a deck of cards.
The Custom Installed Deck version here is a finished Bicycle-style deck that is ready to go with no preparation on your part. A plus, this finished version is thinner and costs ten dollars less than the kit. There's no question that this finished product is the way to go. That is, unless you use non-Bicycle cards.
If you would like to cause a playing card to briefly hover an inch above the deck, it's worth looking at this one.
