Notes From the Magic Castle 8/16/05
This week, the Castle celebrates the 50th anniversary of the illustrious Long Beach Mystics, a club that produced an amazing array of professional magicians that includes this week’s Palace performers. On Tuesday night, the rotating Palace show featured: Randy Pryor, Bill Smith, Mike Caveney, Armando Lucero and Les Arnold & Dazzle, an impressive and entertaining line-up.

Fantastic week at the Magic Castle with Rich Bloch, Dale Salwak and Amos Levkovitch in the Palace and Andrew Goldenhersh and Dirk Holtkotte in the Parlour. The well-rounded Palace show rocked with Bloch’s hilarious antics and the superb manipulation of Salwak. And Goldenhersh, once again, demonstrates what a polished, entertaining and outstanding Parlour act looks like.

Notes From the Magic Castle
A new, regular feature, I’ll be visiting Hollywood’s Magic Castle and reporting back. This week’s line-up is a strong one. I enjoyed a new act, Valerie, in the Palace, along with Castle favorites: Whit Haydn, Christopher Hart and Lou Serrano.
