Review: Thought Process by Wayne Fox

Here's an intriguing idea, a bit of seemingly impromptu mind reading that occurs through the text that's printed on a playing card box. This one has definite possibilities, however, at $50, it's a bit expensive.

On the Box

Here's the plot. A spectator mentally selects any word that is printed on the lid of a playing card box and remembers it. While you point out that the spectator had a choice of over 30 words to choose from, and they can look at the lid again to verify this, you can somehow tell the spectator the word that he selected. If you like, you can repeat the effect with a different outcome.

The kit comes with four gimmicks - two for red decks and two for blue. In all, you have two different outcomes. The DVD offers complete instructions and you are taught the main mind reading routine that requires no other props, and another that makes use of envelopes (included). The effect is not difficult to learn and perform and requires no complicated moves.

Final Thought Processes

The concept is brilliant, however, I'm concerned that the gimmicks will wear out with use. This is a great effect and may be worth the $50 (US), but some may find this one overpriced.

MSRP: $50.00
