Review: Omnilope by Jay Sankey
Here's an interesting idea, a gimmicked envelope that strongly lends itself to mentalism effects.

Not a Bag

The Omnilope envelope can be used in any situation where you would use a clear switch bag. The spectator appears to have lots of options to choose from, but actually only has one. It appears to be an ordinary windowed envelope and you don't have to worry about angles the way that you do with clear switch bags.

Because the Omnilope is a business size envelope, you are limited to the size of the objects that you can use, but the envelope is great for paper billets, newspaper clippings, tickets and more. It can be used in stand-up as well as close-up situations and it's practical, easy to use and doesn’t draw attention to itself - it looks just like an ordinary envelope.

The Envelope, Please

On the DVD, Sankey offers thorough instruction on how to make the envelope as well as apply it to various routines. The disc comes with four envelopes that you can use to make your own. Sankey also offers lots of insight into using the prop as well as variations on handling.

You can purchase this DVD to learn about an intriguing mentalism prop, and you may like one of the routines that Sankey describes, enough to want to perform it.
