Houdini Museum Announces Psychic Theater Winter Schedule
According to a recent release, The Houdini Museum Theater in Scranton, PA announced upcoming dates for “Haunted.” The three-hour Psychic Theater presentation tells of hauntings by the ghost of a murder long ago at 1433 N. Main Avenue. The hauntings are connected to a murder/suicide and other tragedies that began in the 1920's and ended in the 1960's in the historic building that is over 100 years old.

The event includes on the spot experiments with audience members in the areas of mind control, telepathy, clairvoyance, telekinesis, psycometry, psychokinesis metal bending and sightless vision, and ends with a dark seance where the spirits of the protagonists are summoned.

Like Houdini, the theater has issued three separate $2,000.00 Ghost Guarantees:

1) The theater uses no stooges in its shows and no audience member is a part of its staff. If an audience member can prove differently, he or she will be awarded $2,000 and free admission.

2) The theater uses no extra, hidden performers, or backstage personnel to create the manifestations or paranormal happenings. The only two performers in the show are the two seen on stage. If an audience member can prove differently, he or she will be awarded $2,000 and free admission.

3) The theater guarantees that audience members will hear, feel or see many paranormal type happenings during "Haunted!" that they will not be able to explain or duplicate. If an audience member can explain or duplicate a happening, he or she will be awarded $2,000 and free admission.

In order to qualify, audience members must fully explain and duplicate each of the manifestations in "HAUNTED." They must use their equipment, as the theater cannot risk damaging its props. In order to protect copyrighted script and concepts, all props used in duplicating a presentation becomes the property of Psychic Theater Productions. Each of the three guarantees are independent of each other.

This show is not recommended for the very young, weak of heart, those that are afraid of the dark or easily frightened. No pacemakers please. The curtain rises at 7:30 PM. Special times are available for bus groups on any day of the year.
