If you’ve always wanted to learn Daryl’s pet effect, this package includes everything you need, including a DVD, written instructions and the ropes.
“Amazing Acrobatic Knot,” formerly “Jumping Knot of Pakistan,” is Daryl’s version for Pavel’s Fantastic Knot. In Daryl’s version, a white knot jumps from a white rope onto a red rope. You then slide the knot completely off and then visibly toss it back onto the red rope. In the mind-boggling finish, the knot dissolves and becomes a permanently blended white section of the red rope. Daryl also teaches a basic version where the white knot simply jumps to the red rope.
The basic effect is fairly easy to learn and it's not beyond the realm of beginners. Meanwhile, Daryl's advanced routine will take some work. The trick may be performed under lots of conditions-the angles are strong, and, at the end, you’re left clean- everything may be examined by spectators. You can perform the effect in a stand-up act, as well as close-up. And it’s a rope trick so it literally packs small and plays big.
Like the other products in Daryl’s Fooler Doolers series, the trick comes with an excellent DVD as well as printed instructions. When learning the routine, the DVD provides the performance and Daryl’s first rate instruction. And the printed instructions let you follow along as you practice. According to Daryl, he has featured this routine in almost every show that he's performed since 1980. Amazing Acrobatic Knot is a great effect and with Daryl’s excellent instruction, you can perform it as well. If your act can use a fantastic rope routine, don’t pass on this one.
