A Stunner
A spectator selects a card and returns it to the deck. You show your business card which has an image of a deck of cards drawn on it. Slowly, and in full view, a drawing of the spectators card slowly rises from it. After the rise, you peel off the card and give it to the spectator. ]And unlike the stage version of the trick, the reset is very fast - something that you can accomplish in less than a second, and if you're slick, as you're putting your cards away.
I already tried this one out this past weekend and its a stunner and crowd pleaser. Its perhaps the best thing Ive ever reviewed. And after a test run this past week, Ill definitely be using this one in the future.
Great Method
Before I watched the explanation, I tried to come up with my own method, which turned out to be a lot more complicated than that by Brian Curry. His method is efficient, relatively easy to make and because it's simple, is reliable. I made my gimmicks up within an hour and was ready to perform the trick. You can hand draw gimmicks or use your computer, which is how I made mine. The instructional DVD offers excellent and thorough instructions and Martin Lewis offers a variation that will open your mind to lots of possibilities. While I didnt use them, the disc comes with artwork that you can use to create your own gimmicks.
Win Win
So to recap... the effect is stunning and surprising and you not only let spectators examine the changed card, but they get to keep it as a souvenir. And they keep your contact information so they can call you later for shows. It doesnt get much better than this.-Wayne N. Kawamoto
