Vanishing is the Point
While the trick relies on gimmicked cards, this is no self-worker. Youll need a solid foundation in card-based sleight-of-hand that includes the Elmsley Count, Glide and more. If youve already mastered these sleights, the trick is not difficult to perform. The vanishes are convincing, although the blanking of the final card is a bit convoluted. As the ad states, there are no rough/smooth, packet switches or Flushstration Counts.Better Instruction?
The instructions leave a lot to be desired as theyre somewhat hard to follow, particularly regarding the vanish of the final card. After some trial and error, I came up with a method that worked, but Im still not sure that this was Eldridges intended procedure.Illustrations would have been a welcome addition. The instructions offer an explanation on how to perform an Elmsley Count, but this is probably not the place to learn the well known move.
Quick Reset
Reset is fast and easy and can occur as you place the cards back into your pockets. As a result, this one can work well in restaurants and for strolling. Of course, because the cards are heavily gimmicked you cant hand them out to spectators for examination. The trick comes with four quality gimmicked Bicycle-style cards and with some work, card handlers will be quickly up and running. If you find the description of the effect appealing, you probably can't go wrong for the price.
