Coins Everywhere
Interestingly, in his explanations, Capehart talks extensively about the bucket and his technique, but doesnt walk through the routine step-by-step. Despite this, he offers all the information that youll need to perform the effect--the technical foundation of Misers Dream. This may be the only instructional magic DVD that Ive reviewed where the performance routine is almost as long as the accompanying explanation.I regularly perform Misers Dream in my family shows and learned a few things from Capehart that Im going to try out. In particular, Capeharts immaculate technique displays almost no perceptible movement-something that all magicians should strive to achieve.
Coins Across
In addition to Misers Dream, Capehart performs and explains an excellent, non-gimmicked, table-based, coins across routine that relies on a Han Ping Chein-style move. Here, a series of coins mysteriously travel from one hand to the other, one at a time. In the course of explaining the routine, Capehart also teaches a flashy continuous coin production where coins are seemingly produced from a single hand, as well as a total vanish that ends the routine with no coins left on the table.Capehart gives you everything that you need to know to build a solid Misers Dream and perform a solid coins across. Some may expect more than two effects on an instructional magic DVD, but if you want to master Misers Dream, Capeheart is an accomplished performer who will teach you the powerful basics.
