In "Toasted," a spectator's card suddenly pops up from the deck. It’s essentially a fast rising card that is visual and quick.

Getting a Rise

This one uses a method that I haven’t seen before in a rising card. It’s reliable and won’t tend to break and there are no threads and no movement on the part of your hands. The card can be signed. The only downside is that only the top fifth or so of the card actually rises up. A higher “rise” would be far more stunning.

I think that a traditional rising card where the card slowly rises and typically rises higher looks more magical. But if you want a rising card that jumps out at spectators, this one features a fine method and startling result.
