An intriguing and visual effect, you instantaneously solve a Rubik's Cube right in front of spectators. The cube is clearly mixed at one moment, and, after tossing it up in the air, it's solved with all of the colors matching on each side.

This one was once performed on national television by Doug Henning so it's been around for awhile. You can't allow spectators to hold the cube in their hands or mix it up, but it's a great effect.

Quick Cube

This one can be performed on stage and based on the DVD Live at the Jailhouse: a Guide to Restaurant Magic, Garrett Thomas performs this one during his walk around sets. The trick is fairly angle proof and you can reset it in front of spectators by mixing the cube up again.

After watching the Jailhouse DVD, I tried this out for awhile in my restaurants and found it to be a flashy and fast effect. It was something that I would quickly perform between my standard strolling routines as a throwaway.

The trick is not difficult to learn and perform, which makes it great for beginners. The kit comes with the gimmicked Rubik's Cube, which is a real one that has been doctored for the trick, and good written instructions.

If you like the sound of this trick, I can recommend that you check it out.
