Magic SYMbol Now Available On-Line

By Wayne Kawamoto, About.com

The publication of the Society of Young Magicians, Magic SYMbol, is now available on line with the June 2005 issue. The new format contains more pages and appears in full color.

Magazine editor Bruce Kalver announced that SYM subscribers will receive a postcard in the mail each month with a special Member's password that will open the current issue on their website. Once the password has been entered the youngster can read the publication, print it or save it. All issues will be stored on the site so they can be viewed at any time.

According to a recent news release, this new way to get the magazine to its members will allow the Society to present an expanded publication. The SYM is part of the Society of American Magicians. S. A, M members will be eligible to subscribe to the SYMbol and can contact the National Administrator for details. For information on how youngsters, ages 7-17 can join the SYM go to www.magicsym.com.
