Noted young magician Jason Latimer has taken the magic world by storm and is launching his U.S. tour at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza on May 24. In the show, Latimer will produce a Lamborghini on stage, manipulate a laser as if it were a solid object, levitate 360 degrees and showcase a dozen new illusions. In addition, Latimer will perform the routine that gave him the honor of being the third American in history to earn the title “Grand Prix World Champion of Magic.”
Opening the show will be the The Mums, and Aldo Colombini will act as Master of Ceremonies. Latimer was recently seen on "American Idol," where he entertained the contestants at Hollywood’s Magic Castle, and he recently appeared on "The Craig Ferguson Show" performing his innovative clear cups and balls routine.
In a related article, Latimer says that he wouldn’t be successful if he didn’t have his college diploma. "I learned how to think and how to work with a team, using science, math and physics," says Latimer, who consults with his college professors when developing new illusions.
