Review: Psyche by Andrew Gerard

About.com Rating 4

Here's a cool coin bending routine that happens in two phases. In the first, a borrowed coin bends in a spectator's hand approximately 20 degrees. In the second phase, the same coin is signed and bends to an angle of 90 degrees. This one requires no gimmicks and you can give the bent coin away as a souvenir. I was impressed with the effect's straight-forward approach.

Bend the Mind

What's great about this routine is that it requires no other equipment to make the bend occur during the performance. It's all skill, misdirection and some optical trickery that makes the bend occur in the minds of spectators.

The instruction is thorough and complete. Andrew Gerard provides you with everything that you need to know.

Coined

While I like coin bending routines such as David Penn's Coinvexed that rely on the cool gadgets, this one is elegant in its sheer simplicity.
