You hold the box under a handkerchief and when you bring the box back out, the ball has vanished.
As taught to beginners, it's not a particularly convincing trick. To start, the vanish occurs under a handkerchief and magicians will be accused of opening the box under the cover of the handkerchief to remove the ball.
Unlike the "coin escape" trick, the box is not secured with the lid locked in place so this is a possibility.
Definitely play with the trick should you receive one with a magic set. However, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this one on its own.
