If you've been studying the many easy coin tricks on this site, how about stringing them together into a single magic routine? Here you'll bring out three coins, and one-by-one, they vanish.
To perform this routine, there's some work ahead of time. Also, you'll need two quarters, some aluminum foil, a couple of bracelets and some paper. If you have a handkerchief and a friend that can secretly help you, you can make the last coin completely disappear in the final phase.
1. Vanishing One Coin
Here's step one, your opener. You bring out three coins and show them in your hands. After closing your hands, you're left with two - one has mysteriously disappeared. The instructions for this trick show four coins, but we're adapting this one for use with three.
2. Vanishing the Second Coin
After making a single coin disappear in step one, in step two, you begin with two coins and make one of them disappear by using the prepared rings or bracelets in this trick. Unlike the trick where you bring the coin back at the end, we're going to simply make it vanish.
3. Make the Last Coin Vanish
After making two coins vanish, you're down to a single coin. Here's a basic sleight of hand move that will allow you make the last quarter momentarily disappear before you bring it back with your other hand.
4. Make it Vanish Again
Here's a second vanish with the last quarter. This time you make the coin disappear as you rub it with your elbow. If you like, you end your coin routine here with a single coin, but if you have someone who can help you that you've made an arrangement with ahead of time, you can go to the next phase to make the last coin completely disappear.
5. The Final Vanish - Gone for Good
Here's the final phase. You make the last coin completely disappear.
