Effect:
In this easy close up trick, a rubber band mysteriously jumps from your pinkie and ring fingers to the first and middle fingers of the same hand and then back again. In the second phase of the easy trick, two rubber bands switch places in your hand.
In the final phase of this easy close up trick, you “lock” your hand with a second rubber band to block the movement of the “jumping band.” There appears to be no way for the band to jump from one set of fingers to the other. Despite the “blocking,” the band still successfully jumps.
