Linking Rings

By , About.com Guide

Definition: A well known effect where a magician brings out a set of large rings that mysteriously link and unlink at the magician's command.

On stage, magicians often perform with larger rings that can be anywhere between nine and 12-inches in diameter. The rings can also be performed close-up and with smaller 4-inch rings. Linking rings are props that you purchase from magic dealers.

Examples: The magician performed linking rings.
