Slow Burn
Here's how it's supposed to happen. You borrow a coin and place it in a spectator's closed fist. You suggest that the coin is getting warm and soft - you are bending it with the power of your mind. Actually you're melting it. When the spectator opens his hand, he finds a melted coin. The effect comes in a booklet. Based on the description, you may think that you're purchasing a gimmicked coin. However, what the ad doesn't tell you is that you've got to spend some more money to purchase materials (non-magic dealer items) and build your own gimmick.
More Questions
After spending $25 for this booklet, there are more unanswered questions. The pictures in the manuscript are small so one can't tell how realistic the gimmick and the effect will look. Also, to perform this trick, you're introducing other materials in addition to the coin. Does one really want to have a coin melt in the spectator's hand as described in the ad?There might be a great idea and method here. But until I can see what it looks like in a video or detailed still pictures, I can't recommend it.
For stuff that melts in my hands, for now, Ill stick with M&Ms.
