Sheets Poker Chip Stack by Bob Sheets

About.com Rating 4.5

By Wayne Kawamoto, About.com Guide

If you perform the three shell con game, this brilliant device, which is disguised as a stack of poker chips, acts as an efficient hold-out that can secretly deliver a pea.

The Stack

Since the ads clearly state what this device is, I'll discuss here. It's a stack of four poker chips that have been adhered together and hollowed out so they can hide a single pea.

The magnet is quite aggressive and I wasn't able to make the pea fall out (which is good), but the pea can be stolen in the same manner as when you steal from a traditional shell. And vice versa, if you like, you can also ditch a pea with the stack.

A Steal

Stealing the pea was easy and the device worked exactly the way that it should. The stack is a well made and quality item and comes with four magnetic peas (these feel like the "perfect peas" that are available through Whit Haydn and his School for Scoundrels) and four matching (ungimmicked) chips.

If you work the shell game, you may already have the means to switch-out and ring-in peas, but it's great to have an incredible new option with the Sheets Poker Chip Stack.
