The magician walks out onto the stage and with the cover of a cloth curtain that is lifted from the ground, makes the upper half of his body momentarily disappear.
The audience sees the stump of the magician at waist level above the curtain that seems to walk towards them. At the end, the magician restores his body and comes out intact.
