Lowell has a unique style that showcases his many talents. Audiences often find him morphing from magic to stand-up to bizarre circus skills, all framed within a whirlwind of split-second, razor-sharp adlibs. His one-of-a-kind act has taken him all over the United States, Canada, Mexico, Nassau, Aruba, Australia, Japan and England.
Lowell was born in a circus and traveled the globe with his parents. His father was a clown and his mother was an aerialist who performed the "Iron Jaw," in which she hung in mid-air held only by her teeth.
Lowell has been featured as the opening act for Barry Manilow, Garry Shandling, The Amazing Johnathan, The Bangles, Rich Hall, Garry Shandling and Jerry Seinfeld. And hes a regular headliner at Caesar's, Bally's, The Horizon, Harvey's, Flamingo, Harrah's, Hilton, Showboat and The Venetian.
Chipper also writes, directs and produces various projects for stage and television and the recording industries. As a writer, his credits include: The Magic of David Copperfield XIV, Comic Strip Live, Phantasy and Wild Magic!, and films such as The Last Laugh, Albert In A Can, Twilight Lunch, Remnant, and SIX.
Wayne Kawamoto: Where do you come up with this hilarious material?
Chipper Lowell: I do lots of writing and Im always refining. I also do lots of writing on the side for other acts and am often the punch-up guy for movie scripts and television shows where they say just fix it. I enjoy that. This is where it comes from.
