WK: Please tell me about your “The Wonderful Magic of Mexico” a television special.
Ayala: We recently produced the special with Franz Harary. This was very interesting because I show things in my country, such as the mystery of the Aztec Pyramids. In the special, we found the center of triangulation of the pyramids and did something very special at the site. It’s a different approach to magic that isn’t like a magic TV special. It shows the magic of the country and visits the local magicians who make the magic happen. We go to their houses and to the night clubs and we follow them around like a reality TV show.
WK: Please tell me about your new show, “Magical Passion.”
Ayala: Tanya and I have this new show called “Magical Passion.” For the first time, we are trying to combine my Mexican culture with the art of Belly Dancing. Tanya has been a belly dancer since an early age. We combine the arts into an interesting approach. You’re not going to get bored watching trick after trick. You’ll see a lot of variety and it’s entertaining.
