Making a Spectator Select a Card - Version 1

Ask the spectator to choose a number between five and ten. You explain that you want the spectator to count down to that number and then demonstrate by dealing the designated number of cards from the top of the deck onto the table.

In this example, the spectator has selected the number five and five cards are dealt onto the table. Note that the force (red) card is on the bottom of the stack of five cards. Tell the spectator that the fifth card will be his card.

Adapt the number of dealt cards to the number that the spectator chooses.
