Guide E-Mail Information
If you have a question about magic, I suggest that you post it in the forum. There are lots of experts there who may be able to answer your question or point you in the right direction. The visitors to the Magic forum are magicians and magic enthusiasts who have a wide range of experience. I regularly check the forum as well, and if I know the answer to your question I can help you. If this is the first time you've visited an About forum, you'll need to register (it only takes a few seconds).
F.A.Q.
- Q. Q. This is my first visit to this site. What is here?A. This site is a place for anyone with an interest in magic to obtain answers to their questions, find out about the latest magic events, learn how to perform magic, exchange information between magic pros and chat.
- Q. What do you do as guide?A. I constantly update the site with new articles, tutorials and tricks, and research the Internet for magic resources that I organize on the site. Not sure where to start looking? If youre new to magic, I recommend that you refer to the Magic 101" and Library of Simple Tricks. If youre a professional magician, I recommend the For Magic Pros and Business of Magic sections. Youll also find sections that cover magic conventions and clubs, magic in the news, magicians web pages and more.
- Q. What if I encounter a bad link?A. I do my best to constantly check links and remove those that are out of date. But I do miss them now and then. Please report all bad links to me via email. I encourage you to also suggest links to interesting sites that you feel are relevant to the site.
- Q. Why dont you reveal magic secrets on the site?A. This site is a resource for those who are interested in learning, performing and discussing magic. It is not a site for exposing the workings and secrets of magic effects.
- Q. How can we discuss effects without tipping the secret?A. I welcome you to ask for help with effects in the forum, but I ask magicians to please be careful with your wording and descriptions, and write your advice in such a way that non-magicians wont be able to figure out the secret. For example, I encourage visitors to use well known terms to magicians that include DL, IT, Tip-over box and more. Its a fine line, I know, but we dont want our site to become a place where casual visitors may learn the secrets of our art.
- Q. What if I'm looking for specific information?A. If youre looking for something specific, use the Search box at the top of this and every page to locate information when you're not sure where it might reside on the site.
