Follow me on:

"Nothing to Hide," which stars Helder Guimar„es and Derek DelGaudio, and was directed by Neil Patrick Harris, continues to receive lots of local press. The show was a bit hit at the Magic Castle and it's just starting a run at a public venue, The Geffen Playhouse. A big story, apparently the cover story, is in the latest LA Weekly. You can read it here.

The Comedy Central duo of Key & Peele recently released a magic-related sketch called "Magician Cop." In the funny sequence, a police officer pulls over a late night driver and subjects him to an unwanted magic performance. You can watch it here.

I've been writing about my lack of enthusiasm for iPhone and smartphone-related magic tricks but here's something that may snap me out of my grouchy demeanor. LA-based magician Jimmy H is releasing his take on the classic "bandana" stage effect with an update that employ's the iPhone's SIRI. It's a brilliant idea with lots of possibilities. You can watch his promo video here.
