There's no question that a new generation of smartphones such as iPhones and Android phones have made changed our lives.
But are magic tricks with smartphones a good thing? I'm largely unconvinced and on the fence on this but Alan Rorrison's "iProject" does offer a good "card through glass" style effect that employs a phone.

It's the rare physical and not digital effect with an iPhone. Here, a torn corner from a freely selected and signed card apparently penetrates through the glass of a phone.
