In past years, television's "America's Got Talent" has been showcasing both bad and great magic. And this year, season six, is no exception with some standout performances thus far.
Seth Grabel offered lots of charisma and a flashy, strong performance that was worthy of a Las Vegas show. Too bad about the mishap, but seriously, blaming your assistants? (Not to mention mocking one of the other acts during their performance.) The performance was great and you showed that you were a pro who deserves to be in the game at this level. You can watch Grabel's performance here.
Michael Turco, who has performed at Bally's, The Hilton and for Caesars Entertainment, was a hit at the New York auditions and made it the Las Vegas round. In the spirit of Horace Goldin, who performed magic at a mile a minute, Turco works with numerous assistants to rapidly fire-off multiple illusions in his allotted time. (In addition to being known for his fast presentation style, Goldin is best known as the inventor of the "Sawing a Woman in Half" illusion.)
