In their newest illusion stunt, J C Sum and 'Magic Babe' Ning will attempt to vanish five people who will be elevated 20 feet in the air.

The illusion will be performed on Sunday, December 12, 2010 at 5 pm at the Asian Civilizations Museum by the Singapore River. The event is free and open to the public and spectators are invited to watch the illusion from any vantage point and photograph or video the entire stunt.

Members of the public are invited to sign up at www.museums.com.sg/es10 for a chance to be one of five people to disappear. The closing date for submission is November 28, 2010.

According to a recent release, the pair's mega illusion, "The Aerial Exit," will be the grand finale of the National Heritage Board's 2010 "Explore Singapore" campaign. Sum and Ning were chosen to represent this year's "Explore Singapore" campaign and will perform their magic at different museums in Singapore over a four-week period.

"The illusion methodology and techniques employed in this mega-illusion are completely different from our previous stunts," says Sum in the release. "The fact that we are attempting the illusion with five untrained people from the general public makes it even more challenging."

"We personally define a mega illusion as a large-scale illusion spectacle that involves a large or iconic object or venue and/or covers a large area or distance," says Ning in the release. "Most importantly, it is performed for a live audience and in an uncontrolled environment."

For the past five years, J C Sum and 'Magic Babe' Ning have dominated the grand illusion scene in Asia with high profile illusions, TV appearances and live shows. They are well known for their innovative illusions such as teleporting people and cars over distances as well as setting a world magic record and successfully predicting the national 4D lottery.
