When I published the Top Ten Magicians of Our Time, many of you wrote and told me that Derren Brown was missing on my list. Indeed, Brown is accomplishing some amazing stunts these days. My oversight was due to being based in the United States and not following the events in the UK as closely.
Brown's latest feat was to accurately predict lottery numbers, which was watched by almost three-million people on television. And his follow-up a few days later, where he "revealed" how he predicted the lotto, attracted some 4.6 million viewers.
Perhaps most telling are the various attempts to explain how Brown accomplished the stunt, which includes videos, interviews with mathematicians and more. For now, Derren Brown is creating buzz that is unequaled by any other illusionist.

Remember the staff announcer some 25 years ago… at Pittsburgh,PA WTAE-TV–he and anothere helper loaded the pinpong balls with fluid..or the other way around..before they were drawn for the state lottery at that station ..tohave those winning balls pop up..he won a lot of money for his friends, until he was caught. He did “Bowling For Dollars” local show but it dawned on him that he could do this and make it happen….I believe it woked a number of times… he almost got away with it.
