The Magic of Michael Jackson
I was a big fan of the music and videos of Jackson's "Thriller" era (although I never owned an orange "Beat it"-style jacket) and one of the first live magic illusions that I ever witnessed was performed by Michael Jackson in his touring show with his brothers at the Los Angeles Forum in the early 1980's.
I'll never forget Jackson's singing and dancing as he climbed to the top of a tall platform and inexplicably vanished, only to reappear elsewhere with his trademark whoop.
More magical than any moonwalk and more thrilling than any of his songs, for me, I'll always treasure that truly stunning illusion and moment.
Michael Jackson, thanks for all the magic.

I agree, and I’m so happy that u took a moment to write about him, and your experience, to me Michael Jackson is the David Copperfield of music performances, allways pushing the envelope setting new limits and working towards the absolute perfection in the stage and videos performances.
michael intended to include even more magic on his “This is it” tour. He considered himself an illusionist – breaking the bounds between “now we see him, now we don’t.” But this state is only for a little while.
Michael was a great performer…The magician that was there is a family member and has helped me see him in a whole new light
