David Blaine: Poor Man’s Criss Angel?

Uncomplimentary, to say the least, is a recent story that says that David Blaine has put on weight, is striking out with young ladies, crashing parties in the Hampton's, getting sloppy with his magic and is a "poor man's Criss Angel."
I hope that none of this is true and that Blaine is simply getting ready for his next, big time, stunt.

It’s a bit sad, really. I feel nothing but sympathy for David and I wonder if he isn’t being shafted by the continual attitude of people who view him as yesterday’s news.
The magic community can be very fickle; the mundane community more so. Whatever is ailing David, I hope he pulls together soon.
