Is Criss Angel’s Biggest Secret His Wife?

Levitate over tall buildings? Walk on water? It now appears that Criss Angel’s biggest secret is his wife who is now filing for divorce.

Angel, married? This is news to me. He has long profiled various ladies on his MindFreak show as "Criss’ Girl" and has been linked to well known celebrities such as Minnie Driver, and, more recently, Cameron Diaz.

According to various news stories, Joanne Sarantakos has gone to court in Long Island, New York and is claiming to be Angel’s wife for the past five years. She says that Angel hid the relationship to increase his appeal to female fans and accuses him of committing adultery with Diaz and has proof from a private investigator.

Sarantakos estimates that Angel earned some seven million dollars last year and says that Angel has refused to pay her household expenses. Sarantako’s father is quoted in one of the stories as saying "when his career took a jump forward, he became a different person...his personal life is an illusion."
