Criss Angel MINDFREAKS Your Friends

Wednesday May 23, 2007
To promote his upcoming third season of MINDFREAK on A&E, which starts on Tuesday, June 5, 2007, Criss Angel has created a fantastic effect that you can play on your friends.

By visiting www.freakyourmind.com and entering a friend's first name and phone number, Angel appears to divulge their name and phone number in a "YouTube" style video. After watching the video, your friend receives a call from Angel promoting his show.

Kudos to Angel and his team for coming up with this one. The spectacular effect is a sophisticated combination of a database and video-editing that can indeed be a "mindfreak."

In related news, Angel revealed plans to encase himself in a block, be hoisted 40 feet off the ground in Times Square and have 24 hours to escape before the entire apparatus comes crashing down. You can read more about this upcoming David Blaine-style effect by clicking here.

In his third season - in addition to celebrity guests, street performances and behind-the-scenes looks at magic - Criss Angel plans to levitate 500 feet above the ground over Las Vegas' Luxor Hotel and Casino, make a Lamborghini vanish - at high speed - and top Houdini himself in a tribute to the father of magic.
