(1) Steve says:

How can Jason Alexander win, he is not a magician? I was always told that you have to perform at the Magic Castle at least two times to win any of these categories. Who was he up against? Probably seasoned magicians that were asked to perform repeatedly. Now you are shunning them over an accomplished actor. I remember when the child star who played Doogie Howser got an honorary lifetime membership to the Castle. They do not care about magicians. It is all for the glut. If you have money and/or a name, and the public knows of you, and you are interested in magic, consider yourself an honorary member. Who’s next? Paris Hilton? She wants her jail cell and her sentence to disappear.
