Trick Review: Mind Control Remastered by Bill Abbott

Wednesday April 11, 2007
In "Mind Control," Bill Abbott offers a trick that is easy to perform and can be performed in several variations for close-up or stage. Here, the spectator makes a free choice and is shown that the magician knew all along.

Three objects are placed in a row on a table. Let's say that the magician lays down a set of keys, a credit card and a watch. The spectator is handed a pen and asked to write down the object on the table that they are most drawn to.

Even though the participant makes an absolutely free choice of any of the three objects and can readily change his mind, the magician reveals that he knew from the beginning what object would be chosen.
