Steve Wyrick: Real Magic
For the past month, Wyrick has been previewing his new show, "Steve Wyrick: Real Magic." which will continue through March 16. According to a recent release, Wyrick’s new show is designed to be faster-paced, more edgy and have the production value of a Broadway performance. In the show, Wyrick makes a Lear Jet 35 and an AS 350 helicopter appear and a West Coast Chopper disappear in mid-air. The total production costs for the show are said to be more than $20 million dollars.
"I’ll be introducing four new colossal illusions in addition to some illusions I’ve premiered on national and international television," Wyrick says in the release. "I'm confident that my new show, combined with the elements of this new mega-theatre, will allow the audience to relate to the show on a whole new level and offer each audience member a unique and exclusive entertainment experience."
The 33,000 square-foot four-level complex houses the 500-seat Steve Wyrick Theatre which will feature daily performances from renowned ventriloquist Ronn Lucas at 3 p.m. and crooner Martin Nievera at 5 p.m. Steve Wyrick will headline nightly at 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. The show will be dark on Fridays. Following the conclusion of "Steve Wyrick: Real Magic" on Friday and Saturday nights, the complex will transform into a four-level nightclub with the theater stage serving as a dance floor for the TRIQ Ultra Lounge.
Featured on numerous national television specials and live stage performances around the world, Wyrick is renowned for his "Blades of Death" challenge and his production of a Lear Jet 35 aircraft is among the largest stage illusions in the world.
Wyrick has been evolving his talent since he was a child growing up in Texas. He began his Las Vegas career at the Lady Luck over a decade ago before moving to the Sahara Resort & Casino and then on to the Aladdin Hotel & Casino.

Last month I had the pleasure of seeing Steve’s preview while I was in Las Vegas for the World Magic Seminar. In fact, I saw it twice. I will admit that Steve is a friend but I have to tell you that I enjoyed the new show.
Steve delivers on his promise to surprise and entertain the audience. The illusions are beautifully staged and Steve has learned to capture and hold the audience’s attention. His production combines everything from mega-illusions to sleight of hand with a healthy dose of fun and comedy. His dancers are the best I have ever seen in a magic show.
The illusions, the dancers and the production value of the new theatre are all entertaining but they never upstage the star of the show…Steve Wyrick.
My girlfriends and I were in Las Vegas for a bachelorette party and we went to see the Steve Wyrick show at Planet Hollywood (aka Aladdin). WOW! It was incredible. Really awesome magic, with huge stuff like plane and helicopter, to a really awesome segment of close-up stuff in the middle of the audience. The music rocked and the dancers are really beautiful and talented. Plus, Steve Wyrick is such a cutie! His personality is charming and the entire audience gave him a standing ovation. Definitely go see Steve Wyrick when you visit Las Vegas!
My husband and I went to Las Vegas with our 2 kids (boy 14 and girl 11). Our son loves magic so we wanted to see the best show in town. Lucky for us, our taxi driver suggested the Steve Wyrick show. And we are SO glad he did. This show was amazing. It had incredible magic, great comedy, beautiful stage sets, and an incredibly talented magician. We did not realize it at the time, but our son immediately recognized Steve Wyrick from several television specials that he has TiVo’ed in the past year or so. It was a real treat to get to see this spectacular magician live. We highly recommend this show to anyone of any age. You will be glad you went to see Steve Wyrick, I promise!
Steve Wyrick is an amazing magician. His new show is really cool, and much bigger and better than when we saw it a few years ago at his old theater in Aladdin. The new show, located inside the really cool and new Steve Wyrick Theater at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile is the best live magic show ever put on in Vegas. We have seen the others and they simply cannot compare to the sound, lights, and awesome magic that Steve Wyrick includes in his show. This is a great show for the whole family and you will be stunned by the miraculous stuff that occurs right before your eyes. We highly recommend this show.
I had the pleasure of seeing Steve’s show a couple of weeks ago. The enire performance had a real snap to it. His troop is polished and his magic is outstanding.
I was a bit taken back by being called onstage to help with a card trick. He was about as smooth a slight-of-hand performer as I have ever seen, and he managed to pickpocket my watch during the process! He gave it back, much to my relief and the crowds amusement.
One of the best shows in Vegas and the new theater feels intimate even though the show is huge.
Just got back from our first trip to Vegas and Steve was a highlight of our trip. This was a great show, and being front row was was awesome. The new Planet Hollywood is a great location on the strip and this show is a must see!!!

I was disappointed by the Steve Wyrick Real Magic show. His new $34 million theater includes many seats with poor sight lines obstructed by railings, the heads of other patrons, and especially by a rather large cameraman who will stand in front of paying customers in order to capture images projected on TV sets that are altogether too small for appreciating Wyrick’s micro-magic.
