Hockey Player Delivers Magic Off the Ice

Predator Darcy Hordichuck is not only gifted as an athlete, but he's also an accomplished magician. "If he was not playing hockey, he could definitely have a career in Vegas as a magician," says Bob Kohl in a recent article, associate producer of Predators television broadcasts. "I would pay to go see him at the MGM Grand. He is amazing."

"I think anyone who has seen a magician gets excited," Hordichuk says in the article. "My interest kind of stemmed from there. I ended up spending a lot of money that I made back in those days on card tricks. Now it's a lot of fun."

According to the article, on a recent road trip, Hordichuck made a selected card appear on the wing of an airplane as it waited to be cleared for takeoff.
