Blaine Exposure Book Delayed
[Editor's Note: The second "reason" is a direct quote that I have not edited. I don't know if the "pandemonium" is to come from buyers of the book or the magic community. If they're implying magicians, it sounds like some serious marketing hyperbole to me. This book will hardly be that significant. -WK]
"Magic Secrets of David Blaine: The Street Magician Revealed" written by Herbert L. Becker is the follow-up to the 1995 Lifetime Books publication, "All the Secrets of Magic Revealed."
"Before you know it, everyone will be freezing themselves in blocks of ice or standing on poles in Central Park," an unnamed company spokesperson says in the release. "Many magicians believe in keeping the secrets of magic just that, a secret. There has been a great deal of pressure not to publish this book."
The release also says that the 1995 publication of "All the Secrets of Magic Revealed" is the most successful magic book in history selling over 250,000 copies. And pre-release sales for the street magic book from Amazon.com and BN.com have been at the top of the sales rankings.

Why not show the cover of the new book instead of the old book?
