Copperfield Updates

David Copperfield is in the news two ways: 1) the second of three teens who attempted to rob the illusionist recently pleaded guilty in the case, and 2) a teaser from E!'s upcoming "Starveillance" depicts a fictional duel between David Copperfield and David Blaine.

Back in April, in West Palm Beach, Florida, Copperfield was walking with two female assistants when they were approached by three teens who demanded their possessions. The incident received lots of press because when confronted by the teens, Copperfield made it look as if his pockets were empty, even though he was carrying his wallet, cellphone and passport.
