Keith Barry on TV Evangelists
"It has more to do with the fact that they claim to be real,” Barry says in the interview. “If I claimed that, a lot of people would believe it. But the thing about them [evangelists] is that they are preying on people’s weaknesses, whereas at least I’m saying to people that they are going to be fooled at my shows, that you are going to be entertained."
"I think what those guys are doing is really bad,” Barry adds. “I’ll say to people at my shows that I am going to get in contact with their dead loved ones, but only to show them that it’s a trick." You can read the interview here.

Your so right Keith! Evangelist on TV are so bad! Who do they think they are! Feeding thousands of hungry people, helping those with chemical dependencies, putting families back together, providing transitional housing for the homless as well as job trianing to get them back in the work place. I mean, do they think we’re stupid. We see past the fact that they literally spend millions of dollars to set slaves free in africa and we apparently see past every other good thing they do because of a few bad apples.
Seriously Keith! Stick to what your good at; parlor tricks. Leave the weed-eating up to someone more qualified.
Out of the thousands of evangelists out there and on TV doing good work you find a handful that you’ve seen a total of 15 minutes of on TV and decide you’ve got the whole bunch pegged.
Take a step back and try to do some critical thinking.
