Luxor Resort to Be Home of Mindfreak
Filming will begin on Monday, November 6, 2006. The first of the shows will begin to air in Spring 2007.
The show’s third season will feature Angel performing demonstrations and illusions in and around the numerous attractions and features of the Luxor Resort and Casino as well as various locations at other MGM MIRAGE properties. 
The “Criss Angel MINDFREAK” Production Offices and Merchandise Store will be located in the Luxor Galleria.
“I am so happy to call Luxor Resort and Casino home for my third season,” Angel says in the announcement. “This is an amazing place with infinite possibilities. Everyone here has been so approachable and already made us feel right at home. I can’t wait to get started.”
Angel appears have arrived in the mainstream. In addition to being well known among young television viewers, his personal life is now considered news for gossip columns.

Mainstream? I don’t think so just yet. Angel’s a low-budget cable reality show personality so far. Hardly mainstream.
Maybe someday, however this news of the show filming entirely in touristy vegas casinos seems to be the start of the “cheeze-a-fication” of the mindfreak show, if it hasn’t already been rolling downhill fast with the blatant video camera tricks being used to produce his so-called magic.
I just wanted to say that even though I have never had the privlidge of meeting Criss, I am writing him a book and am looking forward to giving it to him in the near future…
He is my inspiration in life and I love him for the man that he is, and highly respect what he does! Keep up the great work Criss, can’t wait to go see the movie your going to be in next year!!!
