Jonathan Pendragon in Serious Accident

Saturday October 7, 2006
Magician Jonathan Pendragon was involved in a serious accident this past weekend when he took a shot to the heart while experimenting with a new illusion that employed a bow and arrow. While his injuries were serious, doctors are expecting a full recovery.

"As a former stuntman and as a competitive archer, this is something that I have done countless times and always successfully," Pendragon says in the article. "Unfortunately, this one time, something went terribly wrong...the next thing I remember was being in an ambulance."

Apparently, this is not Jonathan’s first near death experience. According to the article, in September 1992, he was mauled on stage while attempting to produce a tiger and was performing within four weeks.

We wish Jonathan Pendragon a speedy and complete recovery. We in the magic community can't wait to see you and Charlotte performing "Metamorphosis" as only the two of you can.
