Interview: Mike Powers

Mike Powers is a former math teacher who now makes a living performing magic. In this interview, Powers talks about magic and making a living at it. He recently published “Power Plays,” an excellent book on close-up magic.

“I think you want to do something that amazes people, not as much to be a star, but to see that smile that people have,” Powers says in the article. “The really cool thing is seeing that surprise, that astonishment.”
