Illusionist's Island

Monday September 18, 2006
David Copperfield recently spent some $50 million to purchase a tropical paradise in the Exuma island chain. Some two hours by plane from Florida's coast, the property can house up to 24 guests, has hosted such notables as Oprah Winfrey and Robin Williams and boasts weekly rental rates as high as $300,000.

According to this article, Copperfield drew two lines connecting four global wonders: Mexico’s Pyramids, Egypt’s Pyramids, Stonehenge and Easter Island. At the intersection of these global wonders lies his tropical haven.
