Copperfield Finds "Fountain of Youth"

Thursday August 17, 2006
No April Fools prank here ala "The Disappearance of the Statue of Liberty." But David Copperfield was just quoted in a Reuter’s article as saying that he found the "Fountain of Youth" in the southern Bahamas, amid a cluster of four tiny islands he recently bought for $50 million.

"I've discovered a true phenomenon," Copperfield says in the story. "You can take dead leaves, they come in contact with the water, they become full of life again. ... Bugs or insects that are near death, come in contact with the water, they'll fly away. It's an amazing thing, very, very exciting."

The article also says that Copperfield is hiring biologists and geologists to examine the potential effect on humans. This all sounds great. But how is he going to use this in his next show?
