Doc Eason’s Snowmass Children’s Festival
Friday July 28, 2006
The Snowmass Children’s Festival, a showcase for entertainment, has been around for some 25 years. The event was started and organized by Doc Eason and began as the Magic and Puppet Festival in 1981, and later became the Snowmass Children’s Festival or Kids’ Fest. “My favorite image of the festival is a dad sitting cross-legged on the grass in front of the stage with two little kids on his lap and next to him is the mom and another child,” Eason says in the article. “Everyone is laughing and having a good time and being entertained.”
